8. Switch the appliance off after use and always unplug the power cord from the socket. Pull the plug, not the cord.

Cleaning
Danger!
Switch off the appliance and pull the plug from the socket. Do not pull the cable, danger of electric shock.

Never immerse the plug or cord in water or other fluids. Do not clean the gourmet grill in the dishwasher.
Caution!
Do not use sharp objects or abrasive cleansers or cleaning products with a high alcohol content to clean
the gourmet grill. They could scratch or damage the Ceran
Clean the gourmet grill after every use.
• To make cleaning easier, remove any food residue from the Ceran® surface immediately after use while it is still
warm. Use the scraper that comes with the gourmet grill for this. Scrape the residue into the removable grease
collector. If necessary, wear oven mitts to protect your hands.
• Allow the appliance to cool off completely.
• You can clean the grill surface with some soapy water and a soft cloth. For stubborn stains, use a commercial
cleaner for glass ceramic surfaces and follow the instructions.
• Ensure that there is no cleaner residue remaining on the Ceran® surface before using the appliance again.
• You can wipe the casing with a slightly moistened cloth. For easier cleaning, you may also use a commercial
cleaner for satin-finish stainless steel. Follow the instructions on the container.
• Ensure that the appliance and all accessories are completely dry before using them again or putting them away.
