Starting up/Operation
1. Fasten the grease collector to the back of the appliance.
2. Plug the power cable into a suitable socket according to Chapter 13 "Technical Specifications". The gourmet grill
is now ready to use.
3. Switch the temperature control on and preheat the appliance for about 5 min. at the required temperature. When
the red lamp goes off, the desired temperature has been reached.
4. Now put the prepared food on the grill. For heavily fried meat, the temperature may be somewhat higher and
should then be turned down to a lower setting. When preparing vegetables, raw fish, or meat, we recommend
brushing some cooking oil onto the grill surface.
Caution!
Risk of grease spatters when frying with oil or marinated foods such as meat or vegetables. Please use
only the medium temperature. Protect sensitive surfaces from oil spatters.
5. Beyond the white rectangular frame is the warming area which has a lower temperature. You can also turn down
the temperature to make the entire grill surface a food warmer.
6. For even grill results and to make cleaning easier, scrape food residue into the grease collector from time to time
with the scraper that came with the grill. Protect your hands with oven mitts.
7. Empty the grease collector from time to time.
