GT-750 Bluetooth GPS Logger

Intended use
The GT-750 Bluetooth GPS logger is used to determine positions via GPS. The received data
can be transmitted via Bluetooth to other compatible Bluetooth devices.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!
The product and its accessories must not get damp or wet.
The GPS logger's power may be supplied only by the included rechargeable battery.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves
the risk of short circuits, fi re, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be modifi ed or
converted!

Safety Instructions
First, read the complete operating manual carefully, as it contains important
information about the proper operation.
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any resulting
damage!
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused
by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The
warranty will be void in such cases!
• For safety reasons, any unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation to the
product is not permitted.
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children!
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, high humidity, damp-
ness, strong vibrations or heavy mechanical stress.
• Condensation may form when the product is brought from a cold room into a warm
one. Therefore, wait until it has reached room temperature before using it.
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a
dangerous plaything for children.

Inserting battery
• Remove the battery compartment cover (6) from the product.
• Insert the enclosed rechargeable battery in the battery compartment with the correct polarity.
To do this, align the contacts on the battery with the contact springs in the battery compart-
ment.
• Slide the battery compartment cover (6) back onto the product.
Recharging the Battery
• Plug the USB connection cable into the USB port (4).
• Connect the other end of the USB connection cable to the corresponding port on the provided
car adapter and plug the adapter into the cigarette lighter of your car.
• Alternatively, the device can also be charged at the USB port of a computer. To do this, plug
the USB connection cable into a free USB port of your computer.
• The battery status LED (1) lights up red during the charging process.
• When the battery status LED (1) turns yellow during operation, the battery needs to be
charged again.
Switching on
• Press and hold the On/Off button (5) for about 2 seconds to switch the product on.
• The Bluetooth status LED (2) fl ashes slowly (one second on/ three seconds off).
• As soon as the device has received the GPS position data, these are saved together with the
current date and the time at regular intervals as waypoints.
• During this saving process, the GPS status LED (3) fl ashes briefl y.
• Keep rechargeable batteries out of the reach of children.
• Make sure that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries.
• Do not leave the batteries lying around in the open; there is a risk of them being
swallowed by children or domestic animals. If they are swallowed, consult a doctor
immediately.
• If your skin comes into contact with leaking or damaged batteries, you may suffer
burns. For this reason you should use suitable protective gloves in this case.
• Batteries/rechargeable batteries must not be short-circuited, opened or thrown into
a fi re. There is a risk of explosion!
• To charge the battery, use only the supplied car charger or other suitable charger
with USB port.
• If the device is not to be used for a long time (e.g. storage), remove the recharge-
able battery. Otherwise, there is a danger that an old rechargeable battery can
leak, which can cause damage to the product. Warranty will be voided!
On many vehicles, the ignition must be switched on in order to supply the cigarette
lighter with power.
At the fi rst startup or if the GPS logger has been transported more than 500 km
while switched off, the GPS logger should be positioned under the open sky. Doing
so enables a quick and correct position determination.
You can adapt the parameters for the automatic storage to your wishes with the
provided software and transfer them to the device.
