Do no drill holes into the appliance or attach objects to it.

Please take care that the air vents on the bottom and back of the appliance are always free of
dust or any other obstruction.

The appliance must no be used if it is out of order, damaged or has suffered impacts.

To avoid hazardous situations for the user, do not use accessories or spare parts which differ
from those recommended by the manufacturer. The appliance could be damaged or prove to
be a risk for the health and life of individuals.

5.3 Use


Clean the appliance before its first use (see Section 6 – Cleaning and servicing).

Insert the plug (if present) in an individually interlocked protected electric socket in compliance
with the local regulations.
CAUTION !
Do not rest the hands or any other body parts on the cooking surface of the appliance during the
operation or in the minutes following the operation. Even if the appliance's ceramic-glass surface is
not directly heated during the operation, the thermal transfer from the hot cookware may heat the
ceramic glass during the operation and in the minutes following the use.

5.4 Operation

The appliance is operated by means of the "Touch" keys on the appliance's glass control panel.
The user may carry out the following operations:
1. Switching ON/OFF (see Fig. 3 – Para. 8)
Insert the plug (if present) in an individually interlocked protected electric socket. Place the induction
cooking suitable pan/wok/cookware containing the food to cook/heat on the cooking surface. Press
the key "ON/OFF" in the control panel: the display will show "ON" and the light over the "ON/OFF"
key will stay lit. Press once the "MENU" key to start the heating: the appliance will start heating in
"power" mode at a predefined power level of 2.000 W (the "heating" light turns on). Use the "+" and
"-" keys to increase or decrease the power level. To change the functioning mode (power or
temperature), please check the following section "Functioning mode selection". It is also possible to
activate a "timer" function that stops the heating process at the end of the time set by the user; for
further details, please check the following "Activation and adjustment of the timer function".
To stop the appliance, press the "ON/OFF" key (the display will show "OFF" and the light over the
"ON/OFF" key will blink), and disconnect the plug or turn off the mains disconnecting switch.
PLEASE NOTE: Before disconnecting the appliance from the mains, wait until the appliance's cooling
fans stops (approx. 3 minutes after the heating operation is stopped). This is required to allow the
internal electronic components to properly coold down and prevent any overheating that could
compromise the service life and the good functioning of the appliance.
