2. General information and features

The appliance has been manufactured in accordance with all current regulations. However, the
appliance may be source of risks if it is used incorrectly or in a manner non-compliant with its
intended use. It is necessary to be fully aware of the contents of this handbook in order to avoid
hazards and errors, and at the same time it allows the appliance to be used safely and reliably.

2.1 Intended Use

The appliance only operates fully safely when it is used according to its intended use. Please see
Chapter 3 for the informations concerning the operating principles of induction cooking.
All the technical interventions, its installation and all servicing activities must be carried out by a
qualified technical support service.
The induction hobs and induction woks RT350Pro, TT350, TT500, TT350W and TT500W are
designed solely and exclusively for cooking and heating foodstuffs using pans, wok pans, pots and
cookware suited for induction cooking and with min-max dimensions as indicated in Tab.2 –
Para.10.
The Induction hobs and induction woks RT350Pro, TT350, TT500, TT350W and TT500W are
designed only for PROFESSIONAL USE.
The appliance must be positioned on a stable work surface and at a height such as to avoid
incorrect posture; the appliance is not suitable for being used whilst resting directly on the ground.

2.2 Improper use

Use of the appliance for purposes which differ from its intended use (and/or with pans/cookware
different from those recommended in Tab.2 – Para.10) is forbidden, and will be considered an
improper use not compliant with its intended use.
The appliance is not suited to be used with pans, pots or cookware not suited for induction cooking
or to cook or heat non alimentary products.
No claims may be made towards the manufacturer and/or its representatives for damages arising
as a result of use of the appliance which does not comply with the intended use. The user is solely
responsible for damages arising during use of the appliance which does not comply with the
intended use.
No modifications should be made to the appliance without the manufacturer's prior approval in
order to avoid any risks for objects or individuals and ensure optimum operation. Any modification
made to the appliance will result in the immediate cancellation of the warranty and any
responsibility by the manufacturer. The appliance must only be used when there are no doubts
regarding its technical status.

2.3 Technical data

Reference should be made to Tab. 1 – Para. 9 and Tab. 2 – Para. 10 for information concerning power,
electricity supply, dimensions, overall size, type and dimensions of suited pans and cookware for use
with the appliance.
