For stepless control or adjustment of single- and 3-phase EC-fans with an input control signal of 0 - 10 V DC. Con-
nection examples of the basic scheme are mentioned further below.

The use of other brands, especially other electronic devices, can lead to malfunctioning and even destruc-
tion of controller and/or fan. Controllers which have not been cleared by Helios are not liable for warranty and
guarantee claim

1.17 Motor protection

All EC-centrifugal-roof fans are equipped with energy-saving, maintenance-free EC-external rotor motors ( protected to
IP 44, radio suppressed, with ball bearing) with highest efficiency. Suitable for continous operation S1. Insulation class
B and F. The motors are equipped with external electronics.
Protective functions:
· Undervoltage
· Overload (current limiting)
· Motor blocking
· Motor error
If the motor switches off repeated via thermal contact, the unit may not be operated anymore and urgent inve-
stigations to find the cause should be carried out by suitably qualified.
