6.1 General instructions for cleaning
and maintenance
Caution! Risk of electric shock!
• To avoid the risk of electric shock, disconnect the
appliance from the power supply before any clean-
ing or maintenance.
• Moisture penetration may cause a short circuit or
electric shock.
Do not use pressure washers or steam cleaners
to clean the appliance.
Caution! Risk of burns!
• To avoid burns, do not clean the oven when it is hot
and do not pour water into the hot cooking cham-
ber. This produces hot steam which can cause
scalding and can also damage the enamel coating
due to the temperature change.
• The oven, as well as accessories and dishes, may
be very hot after use and can cause burns.
Do not touch the cooking chamber or anything in it
until all elements have cooled down.
