10.1 Cleaning the light fitting
At the plastic parts of the light fitting there is a danger of ignition
due to electrostatic charging! For cleaning the housing and cover
outside and inside and for cleaning internal plastic components use
only cold or lukewarm water (if necessary with a mild cleaning
agent) together with a viscose sponge or a soft fibrous-free cloth!
Pay attention to the following in case of application of this light
fitting in dusty atmospheres:
Dust deposits have got thermal insulation characteristic features. It is
necessary to clean the fitting from dust regularly. In case the dust layer
may be higher than 5 mm it must be ensured that the surface tempera-
ture of the light fitting does not exceed the maximum permissible surface
temperature of the specific dust considering the thickness of the dust
layer. The dust layer must not exceed 50 mm at any time.

Repair / Overhaul / Modifications
Repairs and overhaul may only be carried out with genuine
EATON/COOPER CROUSE-HINDS spare parts.
Repairs that affect the explosion protection, may only be carried
out by EATON/COOPER CROUSE-HINDS or a qualified electrician in
compliance with the applicable national rules (IEC/EN 60079-19).
In the event of damage, replacement of these components is
mandatory. In case of doubt, the respective apparatus shall be sent
to EATON/COOPER CROUSE-HINDS for repair.

For applications in dusty atmospheres the light fitting must be
cleaned before opening!

Ensure that there will be no dust getting into the light fitting while it
is open!

Replace damaged explosion-proof parts by original spare parts from
the EATON/COOPER CROUSE-HINDS only!
11.1 Replacing LED and electronic gear
It is not allowed to replace the LED-modules of this light fitting.
LED-reflector with mounted LED-modules and Electronic control gear of
this light fitting must be replaced by EATON/COOPER CROUSE-HINDS,
by a service technician who is instructed from EATON/COOPER
CROUSE-HINDS or by any other person with equivalent qualification only.
The replacement requires prior consultation of the EATON/COOPER
CROUSE-HINDS.

When the apparatus is disposed of, the respective national regulations on
waste disposal will have to be observed.
Subject to modifications or supplement of the product range.
In order to facilitate the recycling of individual components, plastic parts
are provided with the identification mark of the plastic material used.

Installation of luminaires with V-CG-S module
The V-CG-S module monitors and indicates to the connected CEAG
emergency supply system the function of the luminaire.
The V-CG-S module allows single monitoring of these luminaires in CEAG
emergency lighting systems. The switching mode (maintained/non-main-
tained and switched emergency luminaires) is freely programmable and
mixed operation up to 20 addresses in a single circuit is possible.
For further information to the switching mode please refer to the relevant
instruction manual of the emergency power supply unit.
Addressing
Before fitting the cover, the addressing of the individual luminaires is to
be carried out. The desired address (1 - 20) is set on the address switch by
means of a suitable screw driver (Arrowhead to No., fig.
