4.2 Installing the extension unit
Requirement
Ensure that the following requirements are met before beginning the installation of the
extension unit:

This section describes the installation of an extension unit 15" to a PRO device that is fitted
to a support arm system from above.

CAUTION
Damage to the PRO device
Screws made from incorrect materials and screws of an incorrect dimension may damage
the PRO device.
Use exclusively the screws supplied in the accessory pack for the extension unit.
Do not exceed the permissible torque
If you tighten up the screws with a torque > 0.8 Nm, you may damage the thread in the
enclosure.
Alternatively, tighten the screws using a maximum torque of 0.8 Nm.
NOTICE
Warranty endangered
If you do not install the extension unit in accordance with the specifications in these
operating instructions, the warranty for the extension unit is void.
Always install the extension unit according to these operating instructions.
IP65 degree of protection at risk
If there are no seals on the mechanical interfaces or if they are damaged, IP65 degree of
protection is at risk. Check the condition and seating of the seals.
