Only a qualified contractor should carry out installation, commis-
sioning, maintenance and repair of the appliance.
8.1 general safety instructions
We guarantee trouble-free function and operational reliability
only if the original accessories and spare parts intended for the
appliance are used.

11. installation
DANGER Electrocution
- If installing the appliance in rooms with a bath and/
or shower, take the relevant safety zone into ac-
count (see information on the type plate).
- Install the appliance in such a way that control
equipment cannot be touched by a person in the
bath or shower.
DANGER Burns
- Only fit the appliance to a vertical wall that is tem-
perature-resistant to at least 90 °C.
- Maintain minimum clearances to adjacent surfaces.
- Never install the appliance directly below a wall
socket.
f The correct hole spacing for the wall mounting brack- f
et is provided in the dimensioned drawing (see chapter
"Specification").
f Secure the wall mounting bracket with suitable fixing mate- f
rials. The horizontal and vertical slots in the wall mounting
bracket enable alignment if drilled holes are not completely
accurate.
f Position the appliance against the wall so that the two pro- f
trusions in the top of the back panel grip into the slots in the
wall mounting bracket.
f Secure the appliance with the mounting bracket and one f
screw to prevent unintentional unhooking. Hook the mount-
ing bracket into the back panel from the lower rear.
12. Power supply

Carry out all electrical connection and installation work
in accordance with relevant regulations.

Observe the type plate. The specified voltage must match
the mains voltage.
The electrical cable must not touch the appliance.
f Ensure the standard socket or junction box is at least 10 cm f
from the appliance.
f Never install the appliance directly below a wall socket. f
f If a permanent connection is required, trim the electrical f
cable (cut off the plug) so that it runs directly to the appli-
ance junction box.
f In the case of a permanent connection, isolate the appliance f
from the power supply using an isolator with at least 3 mm
omnipolar contact separation.
This appliance is unsuitable for fixed electrical cables.
13. appliance handover
Explain the functions of the appliance to the user. Draw special
attention to the safety instructions. Hand over the operating and
installation instructions to users.
