BASIC OPERATION

Automatic switch-off

The device has a power-saving function in accordance with the European ErP standard, which switches the
device to standby mode after 15 minutes without an audio signal. Press the POWER button to switch the
device back on.
AV OUT
Connect an AV cable to the AV OUT connection and connect it to a monitor (AV input). The picture and sound
will be transmitted from the DVD player to another monitor. The AV output is active in every mode and does
not need to be selected separately.
Playback buttons
You can control the playback function and volume for DVD, USB and SD card mode using the following
buttons.

DVD MODE

Insert a disk into the drive. Various disk types (DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, DVD-Video, CD, CD-R/RW) are
supported. Please make sure that you remove the transport security card before inserting a disk.
1. Switch on the device.
2. Use the MODE button to select DVD mode.
3. Press the OPEN button on the device to open the drive.
4. Insert a disk into the drive with the printed side facing up.
5. Close the drive by pressing the flap down until it clicks into place.
6. Playback starts automatically.
7. Control playback with the buttons as described under "Playback buttons".
