IMPRES Battery with Self Calibration and Recondition

Manually Terminating the Calibration Process
When and where to use: Calibration may be terminated at any time during the calibration process of
the battery (steady amber).
Procedure:
1 Remove the battery from the charger pocket.
2 Within five seconds, reinsert the battery into the charger pocket.
The charger terminates the calibration process and begins the charging process. The charger
indicator changes to a steady red. The charger attempts to calibrate the battery at the next
battery insertion.

Manually Initiating the Calibration Process
Procedure:
1 Insert the battery into the charger pocket.
2 Within 2.5 minutes, remove the battery from the charger pocket.
3 Within five seconds, reinsert the battery into the charger pocket.
The charger indicator changes from steady red to steady amber. The charger is forced to
calibrate and automatically recharge the battery. Two or three manual calibration cycles may be
required to recharge the batteries due to long-term storage conditions.

IMPRES 2 or IMPRES End-of-Service-Life LED Indication
The charger may indicate IMPRES 2 or IMPRES battery End-of-Service by alternating Red and Green
LED upon successful completion of calibration or reconditioning. For battery with Self-Calibration icon,
the charger may indicate the battery End-of-Service momentarily at battery insert, and continuously
blinks red and green LED upon complete charging.
CAUTION: IMPRES or IMPRES 2 batteries that has this icon on
the battery label do not require periodic calibration and reconditioning
when docked into this IMPRES 2 charger (with software version V2.01
or newer).
NOTE: Ensure that your charger is always updated with the latest
firmware. The Motorola Solutions Charger Reprogrammer application
package can be downloaded from Motorola Online (MOL) or Motorola
Solutions website.
NOTE: Manual calibration or reconditioning does not apply to IMPRES
or IMPRES 2 batteries that has this icon.
