4. Environment and
recycling
Please help us to protect the environment by
disposing of the packaging in accordance with
the national regulations for waste processing.
2.1 Regulations and provi-
sions
 Installation, first operation, and maintenance
or repair of this fitting may only be carried
out by an approved qualified installer, work-
ing in accordance with these instructions.
 For use only with open-outlet (non-
pressurised) water heaters.
 Maximum hot water temperature 85 °C.
 Approved up to 0.6 MPa flow pressure; at
more than 0.6 MPa, a pressure-reduction
valve is to be fitted into the main feed pipe.
Flush the cold water feed pipe
through thoroughly.
If th­e copper pipes are sh­ortened for any
reason, they are to be deburred on the
inside.
2.2 Installing the fitting
D The fitting is to be secured with the seal
(5), the clamping sleeve (6) and the lock-
nut (7). With a plate thickness in excess
of 5 mm, the clamping sleeve (6) is to
be rotated.
E Install the outlet pipe (1) on the fitting
body (4).
2.3 Water connection
Cold water feed pipe:
The short copper pipe marked „blue" (arrow
points upwards) is to be connected to the

angle valve.
For open-outlet water heaters,
the valve is fully opened the following
flow values must not be exceeded:
– 5 l/min with 5-litre heater
– 10 l/min with 10-litre heater
If th­e flow values are exceeded, th­e
stepped choke element (11) provided is
to be installed in the cold water feed pipe.
The choke element is to be shortened if
necessary.
Cold water to water
The chromed copper pipe marked with a
blue sticker (arrow pointing downwards) is
to be connected to the water heater inlet
connection.
Hot water from water
The chromed copper pipe marked with the
red sticker (arrow pointing upwards) is to
be connected to the water heater outlet
connection.
Filling the water heater
Fill the water heater before switching
