The dispersion tool can be disassembled for cleaning as described below:
• Unscrew the rotor (9) from the shaft (2001) using the generator and
shaft key included in the tool set. The rotor is held fast by means of
the generator key and screwed off from above by turning the shaft
using the shaft key.
• Unscrew the stator (8) from the shaft (2) (left-hand thread).
Insert transverse rib of the shaft key into the front-end slot of the
shaft tube. By using the generator key the stator may now be scr-
ewed off in a clockwise direction. In doing so, the dispersion tool and
the stator should be held up in vertical position, thus preventing the
spring of the slide ring sealing from falling out.
• In this position the parts of the slide ring seal can be removed from
the shaft (2001).
• Tap the shaft (2001) and the ball bearing (4) downward out of
the shaft tube.
• The slide rings and O-rings must be replaced in the case of
wear. The sliding surfaces of the slide and counter ring must be
clean.
Reassemble the dispersion tool in the reverse sequence.

Make certain that the O-ring (10) and the thrust collar (3004) ( Fig. 5) are
properly fitted during assembly.
Sterilization :
After cleaning the dispersion tools the method A) is suitable for this disper-
sion tool. The methods B) and C) must not be used otherwise the ball bea-
ring and seals will be destroyed.

Dispersion tool S 25 KV - .. - IL
Overview (Fig. 5)
The bearing of the S 25 KV - IL shaft consists of a slide bearing, ball
bearing and single-thrust slide ring seal. The slide rings are made of
SiC. The shaft is provided with a dispersion head when it leaves the
factory.
