2 Intended use
The USB charging station has 10 USB power outputs intended for charging suitable devices
(e.g. smartphones, tablets, etc.).
The USB charging station operates on an external power adapter included.
Always observe the safety instructions and all other information included in these operating
instructions!
Read through the operating instructions closely and carefully, and keep them for later refer-
ence. If you pass the product on to a third party, please pass on these operating instructions
as well.
Use other than that described above can lead to damage to the product and may involve addi-
tional risks such as, for example, short circuits, fire, electrical shocks etc. No part of the product
may be modified or rebuilt, and the housing must not be opened!

5 Safety instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety
information. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on
proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting per-
sonal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/
guarantee.
5.1 General
The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is not permitted for safety
and approval reasons. Never dismantle the product.
Maintenance, adjustment, or repair work should be carried out only by a specialist/special-
ist workshop.
Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, as it could become a dangerous
plaything for children.
Also observe the safety and operating instructions of all other devices that are connected
to the USB charging station.

are not answered in these operating instructions, please contact us or another specialist.

5.2 Power adapter/power cable
Do not modify or repair mains supply components including mains plugs, mains
cables, and power supplies. Do not use damaged components. Risk of death by
electric shock!
The design of the power adapter complies with class II safety requirements.
The mains socket at which the power pack is connected must be easily accessible.
Do not pull the mains plug from the mains socket by pulling on the cable.
Protect the power adapter/mains cable from damage.
If the power adapter/mains cable is damaged, do not touch it; there is danger to life from
electric shock!
First, switch off the mains voltage to the socket to which the power adapter is connected
(switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or, for example remove the safety fuse, and
then switch off the fault-current circuit breaker, so the socket is fully disconnected).
Only then pull the mains plug of the power adapter out of the socket. Do not use the power
adapter/mains cable any more; rather, dispose of it in an environmental friendly manner.
A damaged power cord can be replaced by a new power cable of the same type.
5.3 Installation site
The complete product is intended for use in dry, indoor locations only. No part of the product
should become damp or wet; never handle it if your hands are wet! A power adapter/power
cable carries the risk of a potentially fatal electric shock!
Select a stable, flat, clean, sufficiently large place for the USB charging station.
Do not place the USB charging station on a flammable surface (e.g. carpet, tablecloth).
Always use a suitable, non-flammable, heatproof base.
Do not place the USB charging station on surface of valuable furniture without suitable pro-
tection. The impact of heat could lead to colour or material changes. Scratches or pressure
points may occur on the furniture surface.
Keep the device away from easily flammable materials (e.g. drapes, paper), liquids (e.g.
gasoline) or gases. There is a risk of fire and explosion!
Avoid direct sunlight, strong heat or cold. Keep the product away from dust and dirt.
Do not use in the immediate vicinity of strong magnetic or electromagnetic fields, transmit-
ter aerials or RF generators. This can impact the electric control system.
Make sure that the cable is not pinched or damaged by sharp edges.
5.4 Operation
This product is not a toy. Devices operated on mains voltage should not be used by chil-
dren. Therefore, be especially careful when children are around.
Use the product where it is out of the reach of children.
Install all cables in such a way that nobody may trip over them.
Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental falls,
even from a low height.
Avoid the following unfavourable ambient conditions at the installation point or during trans-
portation or storage:
– dampness or excessive humidity
– extreme cold or heat, direct sunlight
– dust or flammable gasses, fumes or solvents
– strong vibrations, impacts, or blows
– strong magnetic fields such as those found in the vicinity of machinery or loudspeakers
Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into a warm
one. The resulting condensation may lead to malfunctions or damage under certain cir-
cumstances! The power adapter/power cable/mains plug also poses an associated risk
for electric shock!
Wait until the product has reached room temperature before connecting the power adapter
to the mains and using the product. This may take several hours!
Use the device in a moderate climate only, do not use it in a tropical climate. For more
information on acceptable environmental conditions, see the chapter "Technical data".
The housing of the USB charging station and the power adapter heat up during operation
(depending on the output current). Make sure that there is sufficient ventilation; never cover
the USB charging station and the power adapter during operation.
For safety reasons, it is recommended not to leave mobile phones, smartphones and tab-
lets unattended when charging.
In schools, educational centres, hobby and self-help workshops, the operation of the prod-
uct is to be supervised by trained employees.
Disconnect the product from the mains voltage when you no longer need it (e.g., when it is
put for storage). Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.
Disconnect the product from the mains voltage during thunderstorms in order to protect the
product as well as the connected devices from any damages.
Do not apply force when connecting the USB plugs. A USB plug fits only in one direction
into the USB socket.
