@ Se souvenir des points suivant lors de la manipulation
du cable d'alimentation.

courant, tenir la fiche et non pas le cable. Le cable peut
se casser si on tire dessus.

d'alimentation avant de partir.
Ne pas modifier l'appareil.
Ne pas toucher 4 l'intérieur de l'appareil ni essayer de le
modifier car il y a un risque d'électrocution ou d'accident.
Eviter une telle action par tous les moyens.
Ne
pas introduire
d'objets
métalliques
dans 1|'appareil.
Ne
jamais
introduire
d'aiguilles,
d'épingles
4 cheveux,
de piéces ou d'autres objets métalliques dans l'appareil
car
cela peut provoquer
des pannes ou des accidents.
Si l'un de ces objets devait néanmoins s'introduire dans
l'appareil, déconnecter la fiche d'alimentation immédiate-
ment et prévenir le revendeur.
Prendre soin de ne pas mouiller l'appareil
Placer l'appareil de maniére a ce qu'il ne puisse pas étre
mouillé par de 1'eau en provenance de vases, etc.
Si de l'eau pénétre dans l'appareil, cela peut provoquer
des accidents.
Afin d'assurer un fonctionnement
correct et sir, éviter
d'installer l'appareil dans les endroits suivants:
— Endroits exposés au rayonnement
solaire direct ou 4
d'autres
sources
lumineuses
puissantes
(lampe
spot
par exemple) (car il y a un risque d'interférence avec la
fonction de poursuite automatique).
— Endroits humides ou poussiéreux.
— Endroits
prés d'un
réchaud
ou d'autres
sources de
chaleur.
— Endroits instables ou sujet aux vibrations.
Penser aux points suivants lors de l'entrezien.
Lorsque le boitier est sale, le nettoyer avec un chiffon
sec et propre.
Si la saleté ne peut pas étre éliminée de
cette maniére, tremper le chiffon dans de l'eau ou dans
de l'eau diluée avec un agent de nettoyage neutre, l'essorer,
vuis nettoyer. (S'assurer que tout l'agent de nettoyage
est éliminé).
Thinners,
alcool,
etc.
peuvent
déparer
la finition
du
boitier et leur emploi doit étre évité. Eviter aussi l'emploi
de chiffons
de nettoyage
chimiques et la vaporisation
d'insecticide a proximité du boitier.
Avant de faire appel au réparateur, vérifier l'absence de
mauvais
branchements
ou
de mauvaises
manipulations.
Se reporter au paragraphe "Avant d'appeler le réparateur"
et vérifier l'absence
de mauvais branchements
ou de
mauvaises manipulations.
En cas de panne (pas de son
en cours de fonctionnement, odeur ou fumée suspectes),
débrancher
la fiche
d'alimentation
immédiatement
et
prévenir le revendeur.
Ne jamais toucher le plateau lorsqu'il est en rotation,
ni le bras de lecture lorsqu'il est en mouvement.
Si le plateau est touché alors qu'il est en rotation ou si
le bras de lecture est touché alors qu'il est en fonctionne-
ment, il peut en résulter une panne ou un mauvais fonction-
nement.
Lorsque l'appareil n'est pas utilisé, toujours reposer le bras
de lecture sur son support et le bloquer au moyen du
levier de verrouillage.
Please heed these cautions!
@ Bear in mind the following points when handling the power
cord.
— Never take hold of the cord with wet hands since you
may give yourself an electric shock.
— Take hold of the plug and not the cord itself when con-
necting the cord to, and disconnecting it from, the
power outlet. Pulling on the cord may cause a breakage.
— If you are absent for a long time, disconnect the power
cord from the power outlet before leaving.
Do not remodel the unit.
Tampering inside the unit and trying to remodel it may
cause an electric shock or other accident.
Avoid treating
your unit in this way at all costs.
Do not insert metal objects inside the unit.
Never insert needles, hair pins, coins or other metal objects
inside
the unit since this may
cause a break-down
or
accident.
If any of these objects should find its way inside, dis-
connect the power plug immediately and then contact
your dealer.
Take care not to splash the unit.
Install the unit so that it will not be splashed by water
from vases, etc.
Water entering the unit can be the cause
of electric shocks and a fire hazard.
If water does penetrate the unit, disconnect the power
plug immediately and get in touch with your dealer.
Avoid
installing the unit in the following locations in
order for the unit to perform most effectively and safely.
— Locations exposed to direct sunlight or other sources of
strong light (such as spotlights) (since this will interfere
with the automatic track search function).
— Locations susceptible to humidity or dust.
— Locations near a stove or other source of heat.
— Locations which are unstable and susceptible to vibra-
tion.
Bear in mind the following points for maintenance.
If the cabinet has become dirty, wipe it with a soft dry
cloth.
If the dirt cannot be thus removed, dip the cloth
into some neutral cleanser diluted with water, wring it
out and then wipe. (Make sure that all the neutral cleanser
is wiped away.)
Thinners and alcohol, etc. will mar the finish of the cabinet
and so avoid using them.
Also avoid wiping with chemical
cleaning cloths and spraying insecticides near the unit.
Before
calling in the serviceman, check for faulty con-
nections and operation.
Refer to the section "Before calling in the serviceman"
and check the unit for faulty connections or operation.
If there is a failure (no sound during operation, peculiar
smell
or smoke), disconnect
the power plug from the
power outlet immediately and contact your dealer.
Never touch the platter while it is rotating or the tone arm
while it is moving.
If you touch the platter while it is rotating or the tone
arm while it is operating, this may result in a breakdown
or malfunction.
When not using the unit, always return the tone arm to the
arm rest and secure it with the lock lever.
Once record play is finished and you do not intend to use
the turntable for a while, anchor the tone arm to the arm
rest in order to protect the stylus.
