MAINTENANCE

No cleaning, upkeep, checks or maintenance when machine is running
Be safe: Shut off the machine, let it cool down, disconnect spark plug cap from spark plug.
The machine does not require intense maintenance. However, to ensure a long lifespan, we strongly
recommend following the upkeep and maintenance plan.
Repairs must be carried out by specialists! Use original ZIPPER parts only!

13.1.1 Upkeep and maintenance plan

Controls for the maintenance of the machine

Loose or lost screws
Damage of any parts
Function of the control system part
Controlling the oil level
Cleaning the machine
Take care of oil or fuel stains under the machine!
Cleaning the spark plug

13.1.2 Controlling the engine oil

 Set the plate compactor after 10 hours standing time on a safe, smooth ground.
 Remove the dipstick (Fig. H) and wipe it clean.
 Launch the dipstick into the oil tank without screwing. Pull out the dipstick again and
control the oil level on the dipstick.
 When there's too less oil in the tank (Fig. J) you have to refill with recommended oil
(following list) till the edge of the tank. The maximum tank capacity is 400 cc.
ATTENTION!
A low oil level causes damages of the engine and contracts the life time of your
machine.
