6. Getting started
• Place your thump into the recess and lift the
holder up.
• Remove the protective film from the display.
• Open the battery compartment with a suitable
screwdriver.
• Insert a new battery (1.5 V AAA), polarity as
indicated. All LCD segments will be displayed
for a short moment.
• The upper display shows the maximum tem-
perature, the middle display the actual tem-
perature and the lower display the minimum
temperature.
