RCU 5000i: Converting the housing

The conversion of the RCU 5000i remote control should preferably be carried out
in an ESD clean room.
If an ESD clean room is not available, carry out the work in the ESD area of a near dust-
free room.
Removing upper
part of housing

Turn RCU 5000i over

Remove 6 TX20 (1) - (6) screws

Remove lower part of housing (7) and

lift clear
Take adjusting dial (8) out of the

recess
Take cable and strain-relief device (9)

out of the recess
Disconnect blade terminal (11)

IMPORTANT! When removing the PC
board, do not touch, soil or in any way
damage the display on the rear.
Remove the PC board (10)
