• Check the I/O module for damage! You may only plug undamaged I/O
modules onto the BaseUnit.
• The coding element on the BaseUnit latches into place the first time that a
I/O module is plugged in. This prevents the insertion of a wrong module.
This mechanical coding may not be changed.
• When configuring the ET 200SP HA and the ET 200SP, you must observe
the permissible number of I/O modules (see the respective operating
instructions).
