Malfunctions
If the jig saw does not work properly, please consider some possible causes and their
corresponding potential solutions listed below.
1. The electric motor heats up to more than 70°C.
The motor is overloaded:
• Saw at a lower speed and let the motor cool off.
The motor is defective:
• Bring the jig saw to your authorised "Workers Best" dealer to be checked and / or
repaired.
2. The machine doesn't work, even though it is switched on.
• Check the mains connection for a possible break in the wire.
• Bring the jig saw to your authorised "Workers Best" dealer to be checked and / or
repaired.
3. It is difficult to move the jig saw along the marked line.
The saw blade is bent or dull:
• Exchange the saw blade.
For tight curve radii, use a curved saw blade.
4. The workpiece begins to vibrate strongly during sawing.
The saw blade is overheated or has deformed:
• Exchange the saw blade.
5. The jig saw is very loud or functions very irregularly.
The carbon brushes are worn:
• Bring the jig saw to your authorised "Workers Best" dealer to be checked.
Electric equipment with expired service life and environmental
protection
Should your electric equipment be so intensively used that it must
be replaced one day, or there is no other use for it, please think about
protection of the environment. Electric equipment does not belong to
usual domestic waste. It can be dealt with in an environmentally friendly
manner.
