MOUNTING
The VS-M1 has a suspension eyelet on
the back with which you can hang the
VS-M1, e.g. like a picture.
Alternatively, use the 4 holes in the
corners to screw the VS-M1 firmly in
place.
1. Open the VS-M1 by simply pressing
in the tab on the underside and then
lifting off the housing cover (see
Fig.1).
2. Hold the back section in place with
one hand and mark the holes with a
suitable pen.
3. Put the back section aside and drill
the holes with a 6 mm drill bit.
4. Insert the dowels supplied into the
holes and screw the back section into
place.
CONNECTION / COMMISSIONING
Before connecting the VS-M1, switch off
the door intercom system by discon-
necting it from the mains.
Fig.2 shows the connection diagrams A
and B. Connect the VS-M1 to your door
intercom system according to one of the
two example connection diagrams.
If there are several parties, the VS-M1 is
connected to the indoor station at each
party in parallel. This allows each party
to use their own network.
After connecting the VS-M1 and con-
necting it to your network, restore
power to your door intercom system and
then add the VS-M1 to the app, see app
instructions (Vistasmart2).
INITIALISATION
Each time the power supply to the door
intercom system was disconnected and
is restored, the system must be initial-
ised.
Wait until LED (2) lights up permanently
red and LED (3) lights up permanently
blue on the VS-M1.
Then press a bell button on the front-
door station.
The indoor stations then play a melody
and the LED (3) flashes. After approx. one
minute, the system switches to standby
mode and reacts to bell signals again.
The system is now initialised and can be
used.
SETUP FOR WLAN
To connect the VS-M1 to your wireless
network, follow the steps below.
5. Open the VS-M1 by simply pressing in
the tab on the underside slightly and
then lifting off the housing cover (see
Fig.1).
6. Connect the VS-M1 to your router
using the patch cable supplied.
7. Connect the 15 V operating voltage
to the screw terminals, plus to screw
terminal 1 and minus to screw
terminal 2.
8. Set up the app on your smartphone
and add the VS-M1. To do this, follow
the steps in the instructions for the
"Vistasmart2" app to establish a Wi-
Fi connection. The latest version of
the app instructions can be found on
our homepage at www.vistasmart.de.
