Device description
The SP cool splitter for heating circuit valves is used for wiring
room thermostats and electrothermal actuators.
The device is suitable for underfloor heating and cooling (sum-
mer/winter mode).
Rooms can only be cooled if the heat pump manager is in summer
mode. The heating circuit control valves in the rooms that are to
be cooled will open.
Six electrothermal 230 V heating circuit valves can be connected
to the splitter. If several splitters are used, the cooling signal on
the heat pump manager is looped through.
The device is ready to plug in for immediate connection to a 230 V
socket. If mains voltage is present, the indicator on the front of
the device will light.

Installation
3.1
Installation site
The SP cool splitter for heating circuit valves should be installed
in dry, enclosed rooms.
3.2
Installation
Danger of electrocution!
Always switch OFF the power to the device before
installation and maintenance.
The SP cool splitter is assembled on a top-hat rail, in the electrical
or heating circuit distributor for example. It can be installed in
any position.
»
Switch OFF the power to the device.
»
Connect the thermostat and actuators to the terminal blocks.
»
Establish the supply voltage.
Connecting the thermostat and actuators
The room thermostats and actuators for Room 1 are connected
to terminal R1. The thermostats and actuators for rooms 2-6 are
connected following the same procedure.
The wiring may vary depending on the type of room thermostat.
Figure B shows the potential wiring for both cases, heating/coo-
ling and heating only.
