CAUTION:
Never install the appliance in an enclosed space with limited air volume where the air expelled by the
appliance is recycled, or near shrubs that may block the air intake. Such locations affect the continuous
supply of fresh air, resulting in lower efficiency and possibly preventing adequate heating performance.
The minimum dimensions are shown in the drawing below.
The unit will function properly in any desired location as long as the following three points are met:

When using automatic dosing devices for chlorine and acid (pH), it is essential to protect the heat
pump from excessive concentrations of chemicals that can corrode the heat exchanger. For this
reason, such devices must always be installed in the piping on the downstream side of the heat pump
and it is recommended that a check valve be installed to prevent backflow in the absence of water
circulation.
Damage to the heat pump caused by failure to observe this instruction is not covered by the warranty.
The factory supplies only the heat pump. All other components, including a bypass if required, must be
provided by the user or installer.
ATTENTION!
In order to heat the water in the pool or spa, the filter pump must be running so that the water can
circulate through the heat pump. The heat pump will not start or be destroyed if the water is not
circulating.
