Cleaning
Pre-cleaning after use
To pre-clean the blending stick or the egg beater, fill a container
with hot water and run the blending stick for a short period as
described under "Operating the blending stick".
Full clean
WARNING:
•
Disconnect from mains power supply before cleaning.
•
Do not immerse the motor housing and the lid in water
under any circumstances. This may lead to electric shock
or fire.
WARNING: Risk of injury!
The blades and the stainless steel inserts are very sharp!
Handle these parts with great care!
CAUTION:
•
Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive utensils for
cleaning.
•
Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
•
The attachments are not suitable for dishwasher. Heat
and aggressive cleaning agents may warp or discolour
the attachments.
Disassemble the appliance into its individual parts as described
under "Assembly / Disassembly", respectively.
Motor housing and lid:
•
When cleaning the outside of the motor housing and the
lid, only use a damp dishcloth with a little bit of dishwashing
detergent. Then, dry the parts with a dry towel.
Accessories:
•
Traces of foods rich in color (e.g. carrots) are best cleaned
with cooking oil.
•
All the parts that have come in contact with food must be
cleaned in a bowl of water by hand.
•
Leave the parts to dry properly before re-assembling the
appliance.
Storage
•
Clean the appliance as described and let it dry completely.
•
Store the stainless steel inserts and the chopping knife in
the bowl to prevent injuries.
•
Always store the appliance out of the reach of children in a
well-ventilated and dry location.
