3. Installation of the appliance
Depending on the intended use the two supplied brackets must be attached with
screws to the casing before connecting the appliance, either to the base (as a stan-
ding device, see figure 1a) or to the back wall (as a wall device, see figure 1b). The
distance between the holes in order to hang the appliance on the wall is 328 mm. It
is also possible to operate the appliance in a hanging position (see figure 1c). For this
the screws that fix the protective grating must be loosened slightly, the hanging lugs
folded upwards and the screws then re-tightened.
It is now possible to attach suitable chains or ropes to the hanging lugs. Please ensure
that the appliance is attached in a perpendicular position and in accordance with valid
fire safety regulations. The distance upwards must be selected in such a way that
unhindered air circulation is assured and the heating of flammable materials cannot
exceed a maximum of 20°C above room temperature and the heating of non-flam-
mable materials cannot exceed a maximum of 50°C above room temperature. The
user is responsible for the provision of a corresponding shock and fall protection.
The appliance must be connected in the following order: Each foot has two mounting
holes that serve to mount the appliance securely on the floor in order to prevent the
appliance from being knocked or tipped over. The mounting area or wall mounting
position should be chosen in such a way that even circulation of air is assured around
the room. The minimum distance to flammable objects is 30 cm.
If not included in the scope of delivery you will need a standard pressure regulator for
1.0 kg or 1.5 kg in accordance with the set pressure for 11 kg or 5 kg gas bottles to
connect the appliance.
