each recording, playback and erase heads and stable
Center Capstan System, the GX-265D displays an
undistorted wide frequency response to 25,000 Hz.
With the GX Heads, a wider dynamic range and
excellent signal to noise ratio are also attained, These
accomplishments are due to head materials, superior
processing technique and a "focused-field' recording
system, The cores of these extraordinary heads are
made of single crystal ferrite and are mounted and set
in glass. The superior high range characteristics are
contributable
to the head
gap
which
focuses
the
magnetic field into a sharp oblong radius, This focused-
field recording system minimizes high frequency loss
and eliminates undue equalization for perfect recording
results.
