The air dryer is started by pressing the ON (button) (see figure 4.1). It is stopped by pressing
the OFF button.
When starting the dryer for the first time upon delivery, the following procedures need to be
followed in order to reach the required dew point.
• Connect the dryer to the pneumatic system.
• Close the outlet valve.
• Turn on the dryer and wait no fewer than ~ 50 switching cycles of the towers.
The device is ready for operation.
Following a break in operating the dryer for more than twelve hours, it is advised that the
procedures described for turning on the dryer for the first time be repeated. However, only two
switching cycles of the towers need to be waited.
5. Adjustment and maintenance
5.1
Adjustment for specific operating conditions
In standard delivery, the dryer is supplied with an injector for operating in conditions with
an inlet temperature of +35°C and pressure (on manometer) of 8 bar. This also includes an
additional injector for 10-bar pressure.

The first start-up should be performed only by a qualified
specialist. The user is solely responsible for properly and safely
operating the equipment.
The dryer must not be used when turned off. This will inevitably
diminish the desiccating properties of the adsorbent.
For operating the dryer in other operating conditions or with a dif-
ferent dew point, additional injectors will need to be purchased.
This is to ensure accurate metering of the dried air flow.
