Special functions

[eco]
This function switches the appliance to energy-saving
mode.
The appliance automatically sets the following
temperatures:
refrigerator compartment: + 6 °C
■
cool-fresh compartment: 0 °C
■
freezer compartment: - 16 °C
■
[eco] switch on/off
1. Press 7 mode button.
2. Keep pressing the 7 mode button until "eco" is
marked with an arrow on the display panel.
3. Confirm the selection by pressing 13.
If a bar appears at the side next to the selection, the
function is switched on.
[fresh]
With the fresh mode [fresh] food remains fresh even
longer.
The appliance automatically sets the following
temperatures:
refrigerator compartment: + 4 °C
■
cool-fresh compartment: 0 °C
■
freezer compartment: - 18 °C
■
[fresh] switch on/off
1. Press 7 mode button.
2. Keep pressing the 7 mode button until "fresh" is
marked with an arrow on the display panel.
3. Confirm the selection by pressing 13.
If a bar appears at the side next to the selection, the
function is switched on.
[vacation]
If leaving the appliance for a long period of time, you
can switch the appliance over to the energy-saving
holiday mode.

Caution
Do not store any food in the refrigerator compartment
during this time!
The appliance automatically sets the following
temperatures:
refrigerator compartment: + 14 °C

cool-fresh compartment: + 14 °C
■
The freezer compartment keeps the set temperatures.
[vacation] switch on/off
1. Press 7 mode button.
2. Keep pressing the 7 mode button until "vacation" is
marked with an arrow on the display panel.
3. Confirm the selection by pressing 13.
If a bar appears at the side next to the selection, the
function is switched on.
[lock]
The [lock] function can be used to safeguard the
appliance from unintentional use.
[lock] switch on/off
1. Press 7 mode button.
2. Keep pressing the 7 mode button until "lock" is
marked with an arrow on the display panel.
3. Confirm the selection by pressing 13.
If a bar appears at the side next to the selection, the
function is switched on. Settings via the buttons are
no longer possible.
Press the "alarm/lock" button 14 for three seconds
to cancel the function again.
timer
You can use this function to set a period of time of 1–
99 minutes. A signal reminds you, e.g. when food is to
be taken out of the compartment after a certain time.
A value of 20 minutes has been preset at the factory.

Caution
Drinks bottles may crack if they are stored for longer
than 20 minutes in the freezer compartment.
Setting and starting the timer
1. Press 9 to select the timer.
2. Press the setting buttons +/- 11 to set the required
number of minutes.
3. Press 13 to confirm the setting and start the timer.
The remaining number of minutes is displayed on the
timer 10 display panel.
An alarm signal will sound after the number of
minutes set has expired.
4. End the alarm signal with the "alarm/lock" button 14.
The timer function has ended.
