8.2 General troubleshooting
Malfunction
Hard water at the outlet
Unstable soft water quality
Display remains deactivated
When drawing water, the display shows no
water fl ow.
Hard water before regeneration is due
No regeneration of the water softener

Probable cause
The fl ow rate is too high.
The settings of the control unit are not correct.
Dirty / damaged turbine (blending)
Varying raw water hardness
Power supply not in order.
Power adapter not plugged in or defective
Power supply (defective socket)
Defective control unit
Dirty or damaged turbine (blending)
Cable connections not in order
Dirty or defective turbine (control head)
Settings in the control unit not correct
The system is disconnected

Remedy
Contact the manufacturer.
The operating conditions have to be checked.
Check the setting of the inlet and outlet hardness.
Clean the turbine with clear water or exchange it, if
necessary.
Contact your water company. Check the raw water
hardness on a regular basis and make an adjust-
ment in the control unit, if necessary.
Check the power supply (switchable power socket
...etc.).
Plug in the power adapter or replace it.
Ask an electrician to check the socket.
The control unit has to be replaced.
Clean the turbine with clear water or exchange it, if
necessary.
Check the cable connections.
Contact the manufacturer.
Check the setting of the inlet and outlet water
hardness.
Activate the system.
Replace the control unit.
