Cleaning the glass pane of the UVC sensor unit
The UVC sensor unit consist of the following components:
-
Welded nipple with O-ring (A A A A A )
-
Measuring window (B B B B B )
-
UVC-Sensor (C C C C C )
-
Coupling ring (D D D D D )
Close the shut-off valves. Drain the unit.
Remove the sensor cable and unscrew the coupling ring (D D D D D ). Remove
the UVC sensor from the measuring window, check the glass surface of
the sensor for soiling and, if necessary, clean with an appropriate clean-
ing agent (e.g. alcohol or a mild acid such as citric acid) and a soft
cloth.
Unscrew the UV sensor (B B B B B ) from the welded nipple (A A A A A ). Clean the glass
pane with an appropriate cleaning agent (e.g. alcohol or a mild acid
such as citric acid) and a soft cloth.
Reverse the procedure to assemble the unit. When reassembling, make
sure that the o-ring sits properly in the welded nipple. Ensure that no
dirt or water enter the measuring window.
Open the shut-off valves up- and downstream of the unit.
The unit is now ready for use.

Changing the emitter
The expected service life of our UV emitters is 10,000-14,000 operating
hours. When the total emitter activations and operating hours passes
10,000, the "h" in the running time meter flashes to alert you to the fact
that the emitter has to be changed. Replace the emitter after 14,000
operating hours at the latest. Replace all emitters at the same time if
the unit has more than one emitter.
Remove mains plug.
Close the shut-off valves.
