All machinery requires regular maintenance. Maintenance work should
always be carried out by a specialist, who should also replace those
parts that are liable to wear out. We recommend that you enter into a
service agreement.

Soiled air filters can lead to overheating and destruction of the switching
cabinet.

The condition of the air filters must be checked every 2 months on units with
ventilated switching cabinets. The air filter must be replaced when soiling is
clearly visible, or after 6 months at the latest.

The quartz glass tube should be cleaned each time an emitter is changed.
Remove mains plug. Close the shut-off valves. Drain the unit.

Remove the UVC emitter (9 9 9 9 9 ).
Unscrew the tensioning screw (7 7 7 7 7 ) with the support ring (8 8 8 8 8 ).
Remove the quartz glass tube (5 5 5 5 5 ).
Clean the quartz glass tube with a soft cloth. If required, an acid (e.g.
citric acid) or a solvent (e.g. alcohol) can be used.
Push the O-ring (6 6 6 6 6 ) approx. 40mm over the top of the quartz glass tube
(5 5 5 5 5 ) and insert the quartz glass tube (5 5 5 5 5 ) again carefully (follow the lower
guide in the radiation chamber).
Tighten the tensioning screw (7 7 7 7 7 ) and support ring (8 8 8 8 8 ) hand-tight and
tighten further using the special spanner from the bag of accessories if
necessary (a small gap remains between the tensioning screw and the
cover of the UV unit).

The unit is now ready for use.

For this process, the lamp connection cable has to be removed from
the lamp, and the UV sensor dismounted out of the measuring window.
