Adjusting your radio
The SMR requires two input channels. The cable
with blue plug (speed channel) controls the motor
sound and the on vehicles with track drive also
this sound.
For the speed channel please make sure
that you can listen to the reverse alarm
while driving in backward direction. In case the
alarm sounds while driving forward the "reverse"
setting on the radio has to be adjusted. It might be
necessary to calibrate the esc again.
The cable with transparent plug is connected to a
free channel of the receiver. This control channel
triggers horn, ignition and hydraulic sounds.
Vehicles with hydraulic components are causing
hydraulic sounds . A cylinder under load is
producing a pressure sound while a relaxing
cylinder produces a swooshing sound.
To use all functions of the control channel the
radio needs to be adjusted. If the hydraulic sounds
are not required you don't need to do any special
adjustments on the radio.
