Folding out the lower bar

:
1. Turn the quick release levers (6) across
to the lower bar (14). Gently pull the
quick release levers (6) away from the
lower bar (14) and then turn them.
2. Fold up the lower bar (14) and adjust
to the desired height.
Three positions are possible.
3. Turn the quick release levers (6) back to
their original position.
The quick release levers (6) must
engage in the holes on the machi-
ne housing.
Mounting the upper bar

1. Insert the two parts of the bar insulation
(28) into the holes on the lower bar
(14) from the right and left respectively,
see detailed picture.
The bar insulation (28) serves to
protect against electric shock.
2. Attach the upper bar (1) to the bar
spar (14) on the right and left using the
star knob nuts, washers and clamping
levers (4) provided.
The control panel on the upper
bar (1) must be on the right in the
direction of travel.
3. Turn the tightening levers (4) clockwise
to fasten.
4. Lock the tightening levers (4) by pressing
them in the direction of the upper bar (1).
The tightening levers must rest against the
bar in such a way that tightening can be
carried out with medium force.
If this fails, continue to turn the tigh-
tening lever clockwise, or loosen it by
turning counter clockwise.
5. Attach cable holder:
Attach the cable holders (5) to the right
and left of the lower bar (14) and use
them to fix the machine cables (15).
Operation
The machine must only be adjusted
when the motor is switched off and
the blade is stationary. There is a
risk of personal injury.
Switch off the machine, remove the
safety key (23) and wait for the bla-
de to come to a stop.
Hooking in/removing the
grass collection bag
Hook in the grass collection bag, Illust-
ration
:
1. Hold the grass collection bag (12) by
the handle (13).
2. Lift the impact protection (7).
3. Hook the grass collection bag (12) into
both holders.
4. Place the impact protection (7) on the
grass collection bag (12).
Remove the grass collection bag, Illust-
ration
:
1. Lift the impact protection (7).
2. Unhook the grass collection bag (12).
3. Fold the impact protection (7) back
over the machine housing (10).
Do not operate the machine
without an impact guard or
grass collection bag. There is
a risk of injury.
