Anschluß des Signals
Der konventionelle Anschluß der Hobby-Form-
Vorsignale ist in Abbildung 1 dargestellt. Die
Stromversorgung erfolgt über das braune
und die beiden gelben Anschlußkabel. Die
mit farbigen Markierung versehenen blauen
Kabel werden über Kontakte (Einzeltaster,
Gleiskontakte, Schaltgleise oder Tastenstell-
pulte) gegen das braune Anschlußkabel ge-
schaltet. Die Antriebe besitzen eine elektro-
nische Endabschaltung. Daher ist eine Stell-
ungs-Rückmeldung über Endabschaltungs-
kontakte nicht möglich. Zur konventionellen
Ansteuerung muss das Stellpult 5547 einge-
setzt werden. Der eingebaute Schaltkontakt
(d.h. die beiden roten Anschlußkabel) der
Hobby-Form-Vorsignale kann bei Bedarf für ei-
ne der beiden folgenden Aufgaben genutzt
werden:
Bei stromführendem Oberleitungsbetrieb
zum Schalten des Oberleitungsstromes im
Halteabschnitt vor dem zugehörigen
Hauptsignal.
Bei konventionellem Betrieb sowie bei Di-
gitalbetrieb (jedoch nur für Decoder ohne
Lastausgleichsregelung) zum Schalten
eines Viessmann-Langsamfahrwiderstan-
des 5216, damit der Zug bei "Vr0"-zeigen-
dem Vorsignal langsam an das Hauptsig-
nal heranfährt.

Connecting the Signal
The correct installation of a Hobby semaphore
distant signal is shown in Figure 1. The
power is supplied by the brown and the both
yellow wires. The blue wires with the
coloured markings are switched by contacts
(single keys, reed-contacts, switching rails or
push botton panels) to the brown wire. The
drives have got an electronic limit switch.
Therefore a position feedback message via
the limit switch contacts is not possible. For
conventional control the push button panel
5547 must be used. The build in switching
contact (the both red wires) of the Hobby
semaphore distant signal you can use (if you
want) for one of the two following tasks:
gelb yellow

Vr2 ("prepare to proceed slowly")
If you use a real electrically working
catanary to switch the catanary current on
and off in the stop section in front of the
corresponding main signal.
In conventional operation digital operation
(but in this case only for decoders without
a speed stabilization, e.g. BEMF) and in
the contact can be used to control the
Viessmann-slow driving resistor (Lang-
samfahrwiderstand") 5216. Then the train
proceeds slowly from the Vr0-showing
distant signal to the main signal.
