3 INSTALLATION
It is advisable to proceed as follows for correct camera installation and configuration:
1. Make sure that no units are powered before starting the installation procedure. Mount the
aerial on the camera. It is advisable to install and configure one camera at a time if you are
installing multiple cameras on the same network.
2. Connect the camera to the network (see section 4). It is advisable to check that the WiFi
signal received by the camera is higher than or equal to 60.
3. Remove the protection dome by unscrewing with the provided spanner the three locking
screws. Make 4 fixing holes (for false-ceiling mounting, make also a 15mm diameter hole
for passage of cables), using the vandal dome as drilling template.
4. Fix the vandal dome to the surface with screws. Adjust lens angle, slant and rotation, in
order to capture correctly the selected images.
WARNING → To avoid reflections on the image it's strongly recommended not to overtake
the indicated slant.
WARNING → If the dome is not false-ceiling mounted, unscrew the cables passage screw
on the dome side.
5. Fix the protection dome to the vandal dome base, by screwing the three previously removed
screws.
6. If you want the camera to record and store video files on a micro SD card (not included),
plug the card into the slot when the camera is powered off (sse the picture below). Power
on the camera and use the camera's wepgabe or the app to format the card before starting
the recording function.
