5. Electronic zoom
The camera is equipped with a x2 electronic zoom. This means that the operator can zoom into the
framed image.
Turn switch DZ to the ON position to activate the x2 electronic zoom.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Using the zoom reduces image resolution).
6. Anti-flickering mode
Flickering on the screen may be caused by a fluorescent 50 Hz light source. To reduce this problem,
turn dip switch FL to the ON position.
7. Auto-Iris controls
DC/ELC switch can be used to select two types of lenses:
•
DC driver lenses (without amplifier): position switch to DC; use the camera LEVEL settings to
obtain a clear, sharp picture, if required.
•
Manual lenses: position switch to ELC. Position dip-switch to DC to automatically vary the
electronic shutter speed according to the light conditions in the environment. Use the camera
LEVEL settings to obtain a clear, sharp picture, if required.
SDNR (Super Digital Noise Reduction)
By SDNR this camera can reduce video noise and improve the S/N ratio. By this technology this camera
can show the clear and exact image in a gloomy place.
Automatic white balancing
The camera implements an automatic white balancing circuit which is capable of correcting the colour
tones as environmental light conditions change.

AUTO-IRIS LENS FOCUSING PROCEDURE
1. Fit the lens on the camera.
2. Position dip-switch DC/ELC to DC.
3. Connect the wire to the Auto-Iris connector.
4. Turn the LEVEL trimmer until the picture is all blank.
5. Arrange the filters (not provided) in front of the lens to reduce the amount of list on the CCD and
make the picture appear (this will make the lens diagram open to the maximum).
6. Start the focusing procedure.
7. Remove the filters and turn the LEVEL trimmer until the picture brightness is correct.
