Rigging; Overhead Rigging - EuroLite PAR-56 Floorspot Bedienungsanleitung

During the installation do not touch the glass-bulbs bare-handed! Please follow the lamp manufacturer's
notes!
Do not install lamps with a higher wattage! Lamps with a higher wattage generate temperatures the device
was not designed for. Damages caused by non-observance are not subject to warranty.
For the installation, you need one PAR-56 pressed-glass lamp with up to max. 500 W.
Procedure:
Step 1: Open the housing cover by pulling the extension spring.
Step 2: Please remove the fixation ring by pressing it together.
Step 3: If replacing the lamp, remove the old lamp from the floorspot by unscrewing the cables.
Step 4: Insert the new lamp in the housing and tighten the screws on the cables.
Step 5: Fix the lamp with the fixation ring.
Step 6: Close the device.
The lamps need to be preheated in order to protect them. Please adjust the filament preheat of your dimming
pack so that the coiled filament glows slightly.

Rigging

The device can be installed on the ground or on the wall or ceiling.

Overhead rigging

Please consider the EN 60598-2-17and the respective national standards during the installation!
The installation must only be carried out by an authorized dealer!
The installation of the device has to be built and constructed in a way that it can hold 10 times the weight for
1 hour without any harming deformation.
The installation must always be secured with a secondary safety attachment, e.g. an appropriate catch net.
This secondary safety attachment must be constructed in a way that no part of the installation can fall down
if the main attachment fails.
When rigging, derigging or servicing the fixture staying in the area below the installation place, on bridges,
under high working places and other endangered areas is forbidden.
The operator has to make sure that safety-relating and machine-technical installations are approved by an
expert before taking into operation for the first time and after changes before taking into operation another
time.

expert after every four year in the course of an acceptance test.
The operator has to make sure that safety-relating and machine-technical installations are approved by a
skilled person once a year.
Procedure:
The device should be installed outside areas where persons may walk by or be seated.
Do not operate this device with opened housing cover!
