8.5 OPERaTION: PaCKaGE LIQUId PROdUCTS IN vaCUUM baGS
WaRNINGS!
• The boiling point of the liquid is decreased as the pressure inside the vacuum chamber decre-
ases. Water at 23.4 absolute mbar (equal to a vacuum of 97.66%) boils at 20°C. The formation
of bubbles in the bag indicates the formation of steam. The liquid must not leak in any way,
so as to prevent it from being accidentally inhaled.
• at first start-up make sure you have performed the calibration of the vacuum sensor (see Chap. 7 - pt.
1: press the vaC/GaS key for 4 seconds with the machine on. Lower the lid to start the calibration
and wait until the cycle ends).
• When work is complete, detach the piston by pushing it toward the rear and lower the lid to the resting
position. This protects the vacuum chamber from dust and dirt.
