III. BLUETOOTH OPERATION

NOTE:
For your safety, do not use your phone while driving. Bluetooth is a short distance wireless
transmission technology. The device can connect with your Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone.
After connection, you can control your phone with the device.
TWINNING
Use this function to establish a connection between the device and your mobile phone.
1. Turn on the car radio
2. Activate the Bluetooth function of your mobile phone, keep the phone within 3 metres of
the device and start the Bluetooth device search.
3. Once the device name "CAR BT" appears on the pairing list, select it. At this time, a pairing
code is required. Enter the pairing code (0000 by default) and Bluetooth pairing will
be activated automatically. Some phones will ask you to select between connecting or
disconnecting.
MAKING A CALL
Once the Bluetooth connection is complete, press the "MODE" button to switch to "BT" mode
and press and hold "5/
RECEIVING A CALL
Once the Bluetooth connection is complete, when there is an incoming call, answer by pressing

A2DP stands for Advanced Audio
Distribution Profile. Mobile phones that support this function can transmit the audio signal
in stereo, while those that do not have this function can transmit a mono audio signal only.
IV. BASIC OPERATIONS Display of radio station names
The Radio Data System, or Radio Station Name Display, refers to digital data transmitted
over the FM radio frequencies and allows listeners to see the name of the station being
listened to, to continue listening to a station while on the move, or to see text messages
related to the current programme. Press and hold the volume control for seconds to access
the Radio Station Name Display options. Then use the volume dial to adjust the settings.

The car radio automatically tunes to the station's strongest frequency.
2. REG function
In any mode once the unit is turned on, press the "VOL/SEL/PTY" button to enter "REG
OFF", then select with the volume dial whether the regional selection function should be
enabled.
3. TA function
In any mode after the unit is turned on, press the "VOL/SEL/PTY" button to enter "TA OFF",
then select with the volume dial whether "TAON" (automatic traffic information playback)
should be enabled.
