Product description
This product is a swing door side door intended for in-
stallation in garages. There are four different installa-
tion options, which depend on the type of door and
floor.
The identification plate containing information on the
product properties is located on the inside of the door
leaf.

Mounting
4.1
Safety information for installation and
assembly
Impact and crush hazard due to
WARNING
careless assembly!
Assembly should be carried out by
2 persons, otherwise limbs may be
crushed during assembly.
•
Always hold the door with another
person, especially when lifting and
hanging it.
•
Make sure that there are no fingers
between the door and the frame
when you want to hang the door.
4.2
Scope of delivery
The scope of delivery is determined by the product
configuration. The scope of delivery usually com-
prises the following:
•
door leaf with frame
•
accessories package
Please note that the chapter Illustrations for
assembly shows the standard scope of
delivery. Special variants may differ from the
standard scope of delivery.
The profile cylinder is not included in the
standard scope of delivery.
4.3
Preparing for installation
Observe the following information before starting the
installation:
•
The steps for installation described in these
assembly, operating and maintenance
instructions refer to a standard installation.
Please contact the manufacturer regarding
special installation conditions.
•
Check the dimensions of the side door and
compare them to the dimensions specified on the
delivery note. Check the contents of the delivery
for completeness (see scope of delivery in the
chapter Illustrations for assembly).
•
Check whether the wall opening fits the
dimensions of the door.

•
Select screws (min. Ø 6 mm) and, if necessary,
dowels suitable for the installation situation
depending on the structural conditions.
•
All specified dimensions are in millimetres.

4.4
Installing the door frame
Please refer to the picture section (chapter Illustra-
tions for assembly) of the assembly instructions,
meanwhile, follow the illustrations as shown in the in-
structions.
Required tools
Check the structural conditions and use
NOTICE
suitable screws and dowels for mount-
ing. Screws and dowels are not in-
cluded in the scope of delivery!
You require the following tools for assembly:
•
wooden folding rule or tape measure
•
spirit level
•
water pump pliers
•
hacksaw
•
hammer
•
cross-tip screwdriver Phillips, size 1 and size 2
•
combination wrench size 10
•
impact drill and drill bit
•
Allen key SW5
•
personal protective equipment
•
if necessary, screwdriver and fastening material
depending on the structural conditions
Installation options
The following installation options are possible (the ad-
jacent capital letter can also be found further down in
the text and in the illustrations):
Outside hinge with floor recess
Outside hinge with continuous floor (sill
must be removed on site)
Inside hinge with continuous floor (sill must
be removed on site)
Inside hinge with floor recess (sealing
groove must be removed on site)
Additionally, you can choose between the following
installation versions for the frame:
•
Mounting with wall anchors
•
Mounting through the frame
Separating door leaf and door frame
Place the door (1) on trestles/blocks so that the
frame (2) can be folded open. Fold open the
frame (2). Loosen the hexagon socket screws (S1) on
the hinge substructures (3) with a maximum of
3 turns without removing them. Remove the
frame (2).
These assembly, operation and maintenance instructions must be kept for the entire period of use!
