Safety
Proper use
The Flexbox 600, 800, 650 and 850 are author-
ised for assembly and use on the following cargo
bikes:

 Use the Flexbox on authorised cargo bikes and
as described in these instructions only.
Any other use is regarded as improper use and
can lead to accidents, serious injuries or damage
to the Flexbox or the cargo bike. The Flexbox is
not a child's toy.
Safety instructions
Failure to comply with the safety instructions and
other instructions may cause accidents, serious
injuries and damage.
 Read and observe all safety instructions.
Safety instructions for assembly
If children play with the packaging or small parts,
they might swallow them and choke or injure
themselves.
 Keep small parts away from children.
 Do not allow children to play with the
packaging or the product.
 Do not leave the Flexbox and the cargo bike
unattended during assembly.

KETTLER Flexbox assembly instructions
Incorrect assembly or an incorrect assembly
sequence can lead to accidents and falls.
 Have the assembly carried out by a specialist
dealer if you are in doubt or lack the necessary
knowledge for assembly.
 Only use the parts and accessories provided
for the Flexbox.
 Tighten screw connections with a torque
wrench using the correct torque values. If you
have no experience handling a torque wrench
or do not have a suitable one, have a specialist
dealer check loose screw connections.
Safety instructions for usage
Risk of injury and damage due to incorrect
handling and securing of the product.
 Ensure that the Flexbox is fitted correctly.
 Only carry children on the child seat provided
for the Flexbox.
 Never allow children to get into or out of the
Flexbox on their own or leave them sitting in
the Flexbox unattended.
Your cargo bike's riding characteristics, especially
steering and braking behaviour, may vary as a
result of the additional weight and the changed
dimensions due to the fitted product, accessories
or baggage.
 Secure any baggage in the Flexbox against
sliding and falling off with accessories such as
suitable tension belts.
 Load Flexbox so that the baggage does not
block your view in any way. The baggage
should not project over the side edges of the
Flexbox.
 Ensure you distribute the weight evenly when
loading the Flexbox.
 Adjust your riding style to the changed riding
characteristics.
 Observe the information on the maximum
permitted total weight of the cargo bike.
