12. Battery Change

a) Game Camera

• If the game camera no longer works or if the battery display shows no bars anymore (switch
position "TEST"), the batteries need to be replaced.
• First, open the latch (B6) of the camera and fold open the lid.
• Next, switch off the camera (move the switch (B4) to the position "OFF").
• Now pull out the battery compartment by the metal bracket (B7).
• Remove the 8 old AA batteries and insert new ones into the battery compartment. Observe
the proper polarity (plus/+ and minus/-). In the battery compartment, the direction in which you
have to insert the batteries is marked.
• Now push the battery holder into the camera again in the right direction until it is latched
completely. Then fold the metal bracket over again.
• Switch on the camera again with the switch (B4).
• Last, close the lower camera lid and latch it again (B6).
• The battery change in the game camera is now completed.
