The configuration file made must be saved in the main directory of the memory card
that you insert into the camera in the end!
Whether you copy the file onto the card with your Windows
to the card directly with the configuration software does not matter.
You may also connect the camera to the PC while the card is inserted into the cam-
era. Then it is recognised as a removable medium in Windows. Observe the following
item f) for this.
If you want to reconfigure the camera later, you can, e.g., leave the camera hanging
in the forest and only take along the memory card.

f) Connecting the camera to the PC

The camera can be connected directly to your computer via the enclosed mini USB cable. This
makes the inserted memory card visible on your PC as a removable drive. Alternatively, you can
also remove the memory card from the camera and read it with your card reader.
Proceed as follows:
• Switch off the camera first by moving the slider to the "OFF" position.
• Connect the enclosed mini USB cable to a free USB socket of your computer and the mini
USB connection of the camera.
• Switch the camera to the mode "Test".
• After a short time, the drive should be available.
