Connecting a limit switch input cable
Notice
A risk of property damage exists if Limit Enable inputs are not properly
connected. Limit Enable inputs are available on the Axis Motor connector
and the Limit Switch connector. To avoid the hazard use only one pair of
Limit Enable inputs per axis. Never use the Limit Enable inputs from both
connectors. If both are used, limit switch function is severely impaired.
This product provides an interface connection for limit switch inputs. A label is provided
near the connector.
To connect a limit switch cable:
Verify that the power switch is in the off position

Connect the interface cable to it's connector

Tighten the cable connector screws until they are snug

X axis
GND to enable output current in one polarity, open or DC 5 V to
inhibit. Typically used with grounded, normally closed limit switches.
Limit
/Pos Enab

GND to enable output current in opposite polarity, open or DC 5 V to

Connecting a CNC input cable
This product provides an interface connection for CNC control. This connector is for use
with HEIDENHAIN ND 1300 QUADRA-CHEK and IK 5000 QUADRA-CHEK products only.
Use HEIDENHAIN cable ID 540660-56. A label is provided near the connector.
To connect a CNC interface cable:
Verify that the power switch is in the off position

Connect the interface cable to it's connector

Tighten the cable connector screws until they are snug

Connecting a joystick input cable
This product provides an interface connections for a joystick control input. This connector
is for use with HEIDENHAIN joysticks ID 681044-xx only. Use HEIDENHAIN cable
ID 540660-53. A label is provided near the connector.
To connect a joystick cable:
Verify that the power switch is in the off position
