Release the 15-pin left wiring harness plug X13*2B (1)
from the bracket and pull up to remove fully.

Separate wiring harness plugs and on the lower wiring
harness plug, expose the twisted red / red-blue CAN
BUS PT_CAN line Pin 7 and 8 slightly at the plug.
Connect the CAN bus.
In order to detect all relevant input parameters, e.g.
engine speed, load state, coolant and oil temperature,
the AC Schnitzer performance upgrade must be
integrated into the CAN BUS PT_CAN (Controller Area
Network PowerTrain).
For the work below, retrieve the latest
corresponding circuit diagrams from the BMW ISTA
system for checking.
