8. Malfunction and solutions

Malfunction
The device does not work
Water leaks from the
body of the unit
(at the air outlet)
The suction power has
decreased considerably
The motor turns too fast
(loud noise)
Water leaks from the
accessory seals
The accessories cannot be
mounted correctly
No steam comes out and the
suction function does not
work
Some water is dripping from
the accessories.
Cause
Voltage missing.
Cable or switch defective.
Dirty water tank too full.
Pipes or accessories blocked
or broken.
The upper part of the
appliance has not been fitted
correctly.
Pipes or accessories
clogged.
Seals at the connections
worn or no longer present.
The connections and quick
connectors are dirty.
Boiler not yet under pressure
(green light off). Voltage
missing.
The appliance plug has not
been inserted into the
socket.
During the first few minutes
of use, it is common for
condensation to form on the
accessory due to the
temperature difference
between the accessory and
the steam.

Solution
Check whether voltage
is present. Contact a
contact a service centre.
Empty the dirty water tank,
check the overflow
electrodes (21 ) and clean
them if necessary.
Clean or replace pipes and
accessories. Check that the
upper part of the unit is
correctly positioned and that
the locking hooks are
correctly closed.
Clean pipes and accessories.
Clean and lubricate seals or
replace if necessary.
Clean and lubricate
connections and quick
connectors.
Wait a few minutes until the
green light comes on. If the
problem persists, please
contact a service centre.
Check that there is voltage
and that the plug has been
correctly inserted into the
socket.
After a few minutes the
problem will solve itself;
otherwise clean the boiler.
