Before connecting the steam vacuum cleaner, please check that the data on the type
plate correspond to those of the mains supply.
If extension cables are used to power the unit, use only cables with a suitable cross-
section, which must be at least 2.5 mm?
The electrical safety of the appliance is guaranteed only if it is correctly connected to
an earthed installation in accordance with the safety regulations in force.
This basic safety requirement must be checked in any case; if in doubt, have your
electrical installation checked by a specialist. The manufacturer is not liable for any
damage that may result from an ungrounded installation.
The device is only de-energised when the plug has been removed from the socket.

3. Intended use

The appliance must only be used for cleaning floors, carpets, upholstery, vehicles and
washable surfaces with the accessories supplied by the manufacturer or available on
request, in environments [protected from water, snow, etc.]. Any other use is
unsuitable and unreasonable.
Inappropriate or unreasonable use includes:
➢ To use the steam vacuum cleaner in the rain.
➢ Clean surfaces that are sensitive to hot steam.
➢ Vacuum flammable materials (cigarette butts, chimney ash, solvents or staining
and explosive materials).
➢ Direct suction or steam against sensitive body parts such as eyes, mouth, ears,
etc.
➢ Use the device to clean animals, people, etc.
➢ Replace the accessories when steaming.
➢ Pulling the device by the cable.
➢ Using the device with a damaged cable.
➢ Clean the device under running water.
➢ To clean the appliance when it is connected to the mains.
➢ To use the device with wet hands and feet.
➢ Empty the dirty water tanks without gloves, protective mask or suitable
protective clothing.
➢ Leaving the switched on device unattended.
➢ Use the device without protective devices (such as protective panels, grids).
➢ Clogging ventilation and cooling slots.
