8. Maintenance

For the safety of the operator and for perfect performance at all times, we recommend
the following checks and maintenance:
After each use:
For proper cleaning, it is advisable to clean the machine and its accessories with a
clean cloth slightly moistened with water. Do not use alcohol or other solvents, as they
may damage plastic parts and components.
To maintain efficiency and easy coupling of the accessories, check the O-ring (steam
seals) and lubricate them with a little silicone grease if necessary.
VACUUM FUNCTION: When you are finished with the vacuum, it is advisable to siphon
off some water to clean the pipes and the filter. Dry the dirty water tank afterwards or
do not close it completely so that it dries itself.
Regularly:
Periodically check that the power cord shows no signs of wear or aging. If it is
damaged, it is essential that it is replaced by qualified personnel before the unit can be
put back into operation.
Boiler cleaning:
Have the boiler cleaned once a year at our authorized centers.
Rinse:
Recommended at least every 50 hours of operation or 2 months.
a) Drainage:
The machine must be cold, or in any case no longer have any steam pressure
and the mains plug must be disconnected. With the aid of a wrench CH 21 to
unscrew the cap (15) located under the machine (see picture).
Gently shake the machine to remove the water and the limescale and the
completely dissolved limescale out. When the boiler is empty, carefully clean
and close the cap and tighten it with the wrench to tighten it.
Before cleaning or working on the appliance, always disconnect the
plug from the socket. The end user must not open or dismantle the
machine.
