REPLACING ENGINE OIL

The illustration shows the intervention points
and the description explains the procedures to
be followed.

1. Place the machine on a stable and flat surface.
2. Stop the machine
3. Let the engine cool down appropriately.
NOTE
When the machine has cooled down, start the

engine for about 5 minutes to warm up oil and
switch it off again.
Caution - Warning
Wear all the personal protection devices requi-
red to protect airways (anti-inhalation masks)
and eyes (goggles).
4. Open cap A.
5. Pull out hose B (bearing a yellow label) and di-
rect it towards a container that should be large
enough to collect waste oil.
6. Remove the drain plug C.
7. Allow all engine oil to go out.
8. Close again the drain plug C.
9. Refill with oil until the recommended level.
Important
!
Use oils that are recommended by the manufac-
turer. Do not mix oils of different brands or cha-
racteristics.

10. Fit again hose B
11. Screw up again A.
12. Start the engine and allow it to operate for about
5 minutes, then switch it off.
13. Check again the oil level using the relevant
measured dipstick and, if necessary, top up.
Caution - Warning
Do not dump oil and/or residues into the envi-
ronment but carry out their disposal in compli-
ance with legislation in force in the country
where they are used.
